The standard issue GI trouser belt adopted by the U.S. Army in 1937. Woven 1-1/4 inches wide in a heavyweight cotton webbing identical to the period original, the belt closes through a blackened brass buckle that grips the full width of the strap - no pin required - for a secure, quietly mechanical hold.
The reverse is stamped “U.S. J.Q.M.D” (United States Quartermaster Depot), alongside the adoption year and size. Issued through to the mid-1940s, the M-1937 first appeared in khaki before transitioning to olive drab in its later production runs.
